Healing and Empowerment: Building A Legacy of Family Wealth
My Vision
As Celestial Point continues to experience exponential growth my mission for our family is to create security and sustainability for us all. Celestial Point focuses on restoring life systems in places around the world impacted by disasters and crises by building back better communities and economies through the integration of ecological principles, social equity, and innovative design solutions. I am to empower the leaders of our family by prioritizing the 8-dimensions of wellness in our program Harmonic Executives. As our family continues to heal, reconnecting after tragedy and hardship, we extend our network though meaningful partnerships with our family members. For our leadership umbrella I establish our family values: wealth, intelligence, empowerment, unity, child-rearing, and heritage. As family leaders, we are responsible for the wellness and success of our children, and providing justice for those children in our family who grew up without leaders like those from Celestial Point Inc. Like the weavers before us, we are also responsible for creating a tapestry of safety, resources, and guidance for our children into adult age. Just as our family's traditional medicine healers and leaders of kinship system intertwined vibrant threads to form beautiful patterns, we must carefully interlace support and wisdom into the fabric of families lives, ensuring they are well-prepared to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. We must also strive to restore and preserve the traditional knowledge of our ancestors and the land.
The Alter
The Alter is a multi-stakeholder co-operative that serves as a managing partner to Celestial Point Inc, from which our family values are established. The mission of The Alter to facilitate familial wealth through entrepreneurship and innovation that focuses on wrap-around care for our entire family. As a managing partner to Celestial Point, The Alter prepares our family of philanthropists for the 1st Annual Family Assembly. With a deep love and appreciation for our ancestors who helped our indigenous traditions survive, The Alter is rooted in traditional knowledge and by extension traditional medicine, from which we are granted the privilege of joining the weavers before us in creating and sustaining life within our ecosystem. With compassion, we unweave the impacts of colonialism on our indigenous cultures, carefully reweaving indigenous systems of belief, spirituality, ecology, and identity.
Damballah Lifetime Achievement Scholarship
As the Founder of The Alter, I am also one of it's first co-op members, joining The Alter as a Traditional Knowledge Keeper, Shaman, High Priestess, and by extension a birthing partner and child care provider. The name of the business is Crazy Swan Shamanic Therapy, through which I am reintroduced under my indigenous name, Crazy Swan. Crazy Swan Shamanic Therapy is a traditional medicine business with a mission to provide shamanic therapy, education in afro-creole and indigenous religions and spirituality, initiation into indigenous faith and spirituality, ritual and ceremonial leadership. The Damballah Lifetime Achievement Scholarship is a program managed by The Alter for this for profit entity, ensuring that all members of the family have access to all programs and services I offer. More notably, the Damballah Lifetime Achievement Scholarship provides mentorship and guidance in business startups that align with our family business mission, vision, and values.
Shop By Focus Area
Shop Our Fundraising Items
Fundraising items are different from the products within our collective buying bundles. Instead of reduced retail prices and service to a household in need, like those seen in collective buying bundles, our fundraising items are meant to generate a profit. 100% of the funds raised through your pledges and purchases are allocated towards the fulfilment of our mission, that which manifests through our key focus areas. More notably, fundraising items help us establish child development accounts, acquire land for our education system, and develop biophilic urban and architectural designs for our districts. When you shop through our charity store, each group of buyers gets to participate in meetings that share insights into purchasing and distributing the items pledged, as well as the amount of profits earned and receipt of how the funds are used.
Flexible Payment Options
When you make the generous decision to pledge to purchase a fundraising item, you not only contribute to a worthy cause but also have the opportunity to secure the product with absolutely zero down payment and zero interest. This means you can enjoy the benefits of the item without the immediate financial burden, allowing you to support the initiative while planning your budget effectively. Payment scenarios are provided, however you have the flexibility to choose the amount and frequency of your payments, in consideration of deadlines for fundraising item availability

FutureHERS
Empowering Self-Efficacy
Girls, with their resilience and strength, can thrive independently in society with gender equality support. As vital members of their communities, their journeys are built on the experiences of women who overcame obstacles in pursuit of education and fulfillment. Empowered by gender equality initiatives, girls can break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and drive positive change for future generations. With the right resources, they can become leaders and advocates for a more inclusive world.
Young girls in Nigeria face significant disadvantages, with the country ranking 139 out of 156 in the World Economic Forum’s Gender Gap Index. This indicates severe gender inequality, limiting their access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. The low ranking underscores the urgent need for efforts to address the barriers young girls face and create a more equitable society.
Gender inequality in Nigeria severely threatens the human rights of young girls and the nation's social and economic fabric. Its repercussions are widespread, affecting child health, increasing rates of sexual assault and gender-based violence, and contributing to lower education and employment rates, leading to heightened poverty. Addressing this urgent issue is vital for the future of young girls, as highlighted by initiatives like FutureHERS. Children continue to grow while waiting for justice and equality, emphasizing the need for swift action. As an organization, we are committed to proactively preventing gender inequality for this vulnerable population.
In the global cycle of oppressing women, young girls face severe impacts from gender inequality and systemic oppression. This oppression echoes through generations, limiting these girls' potential to thrive and contribute to their communities. The ongoing injustice not only affects their immediate well-being but also disrupts the broader social fabric, hindering progress and perpetuating inequality. By investing in young girls in Nigeria, we can begin to reverse the negative effects of gender inequality and empower them to realize their potential. It's time to recognize the crucial role young girls and women play in society and our shared responsibility to help maximize their potential for success.
